If people do respond with things needed, would you or anyone else know a lawyer or attorney that could step in and help?

Great question. It depends on what’s being brought forth. A few folks have already been talking to lawyers. I think the most I could do is provide advice on workplace policy (early termination, disciplinary policy, etc) since that’s within my field. Things like SPED law and health insurance would be out of my scope.
